Bowmanville • Delivery and loading
A clear plan for the next tenancy.
For a rental-property turnover, identify who can authorize disposal, what may leave and who will load it before booking a bin. Keep disputed belongings separate from approved waste. Bin and Gone's rental can be discussed for the accepted load, with placement, dates, weight and collection agreed before the property team begins loading.
- Confirm authority before disposal
- Separate belongings from repair waste
- Coordinate helpers and pickup

Who makes the disposal decisions?
Choose one authorized contact to approve the waste list and answer questions from helpers or contractors. Do not treat a planned turnover or an apparently empty property as proof that every remaining possession can be discarded. Resolve ownership or tenancy questions with the appropriate professional before disposal.
Create clear keep, return, donate and discard groups. This is particularly useful when maintenance work and a cleanout are happening together. Workers should not need to guess whether a cabinet, boxed possession or appliance is part of the agreed load.
What belongs in the project plan?
List household contents separately from repair materials. A property turnover may include furniture one day and flooring or drywall the next. That change can affect acceptance and weight, even if everything originates from the same address.
Coordinate access with the people who manage parking, gates and shared areas. Reserve a safe loading route without assuming you can occupy a neighbour's space or a public sidewalk. Ask about the actual bin footprint and the truck's working area before setting dates.

Can ordinary building bins take the renovation waste?
For properties receiving Durham Region's multi-residential service, the Region says its front-end bins are for residential waste and do not accept renovation or construction waste. Check the building's actual collection arrangement rather than adding repair debris to a shared container.
A dedicated rental still requires material approval. Do not put unknown chemicals, paint or other excluded items into the bin simply because they were left at the property. Keep the provider informed if the cleanout reveals a different load than expected.
A couple of common questions.
Will the rental include clearing the unit?
The standard website offer is a bin you arrange to load. Carrying, labour, disconnection and cleaning are not automatically included in delivery and collection.
What if the tenant's possessions are disputed?
Pause disposal of those items and obtain appropriate advice. A bin rental does not establish authority to discard another person's belongings.
